DILA is a central administration part of the French Prime Minister dedicated services. Resulting from the merging of the Direction of the "Documentation française" and of the "Direction des Journaux officiels", DILA operates under the authority of the general secretariat of the governement.
The Fraunhofer IAO is part of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft which is Europe's largest application-oriented research organization. The basis for all work undertaken at the Fraunhofer IAO is a deep conviction that business success in a globalised arena is contingent on an ability to profitably leverage new high-tech potentials. The National Industrial Property Institute (INPI, standing for Institut national de la propriété industrielle in French) is the national intellectual property office of France, in charge ofpatents, trademarks and industrial design rights.
